What's your opinion on the veracity of the Kensington Runestone?

The Kensington Runestone was unearthed in 1898 by Olof Ohman while clearing land for his farm. It was eventually translated from the Scandinavian Runes and the year 1362 was found to be left on it. Do you think this was a real stone left by European explorers 130 years prior to Columbus or did Ohman somehow find a way to carve the runes into the stone, creating a false story to make the rest of the country believe that his Swedish ancestry was responsible for discovery of the Americas?
