How can I convince fairies to like my mom?

me and my mom have a fairy garden. we worked very very hard to earn their trust. we even have an asrai in the birdbath!! but for some reason, they like me but they dont like my mom. they always want me to bring their honey dish, and if mom brings it they wont eat any of it. they want me to water the flowers and clean the birdbath and everything. they only want mom to weed the garden. i tried asking, they wont tell me why. i tried google, asking what fae like, and got nothing. does anyone have any experiences? how can i convince them to giv my mom a chance?? shes upset cuz she worked so hard and i want to make her happy. btw, we arent some crazy people on drugs, or anything like that, so keep ur mean comments to urself please, and no mean answers please.
